I'm framing the garage; it's built with LECA blocks but I'm adding 95mm insulation on the inside. I'm using 95mm timber studs, then there will be plasterboard and OSB inside. But in one part of the garage, I plan to have an area where I can wash the car. My question is, can I do the same there but just paint with moisture-resistant paint, or should I opt for another material like Mierit board or something else?

Very grateful for answers.

are the walls built up and then rules on this?
it can become unnecessarily expensive with mineral board in the wash garage.

they agree have insulation. I am considering using OSB and then drywall outside of that.. bend a metal sheet like an L that goes up about 30cm on the wall and about 5cm into the room, install the metal sheet between the OSB and the drywall. I end the drywall about 20cm from the floor. Then I apply some beads of latex sealant between the metal sheet and the floor and drill down plastic plugs into the floor to make sure the metal sheet is firmly against the floor. Then I paint the drywall with some type of bathroom paint or similar. I just want to add that cars won't be washed several times a day, but now and then... Feel free to give feedback. Regards

Why not skip the plaster and put metal on the entire wall?
