Started framing an interior wall with K-rauta's metal studs. Wondering if anyone else has used these?
I'm a bit puzzled. The studs I bought can be split. But I assume they should stay together as a whole stud when they are framed up? I hope you understand my question.
Namely, someone said they should be split so there's a notch even in the studs for the insulation boards to rest in. Just like they do in the tracks.
*confused*

No no, they are joined together when they are packaged. One part is a regel, two parts are two reglar.
Oh... haha. Well, I have at least tricked them on the battens. Because I bought 4 lengths the first time, but in reality it was 8?
Alright... okay... then I'm on board at least. hehe.
thank you, thank you.

but are they really k-rauta's r eglar you have in the picture??
Because now I put them simple. But it's not fun because the rule is so freaking weak that it just bends when I'm trying to screw the drywall because it doesn't press against anything.. So I'm even more unsure now.

It's not just the part that is against the floor, the sills part? See the image. It does differ from the standing ones.
