I've taken down brittle ceiling moldings and need to replace parts, but I can't identify the profile. The shadow strips I find in the hardware store don't match at all as they are "thicker" than mine and have a different profile.
Primarily, I want to find similar moldings, so I need help identifying them. See attached image.
If I have to build them myself, I plan to build them in two passes. First, I'll make the base with a chamfer and router out for the shadow at the front edge. Then I'll do the profile piece and glue it to the base. What do you think, can it work?
