Sensitive filler?

I have applied Beckers Breplasta LF to get smooth, nice walls to paint on. I am not at all experienced with renovation and spackling and find the spackle very sensitive once it's on the wall. It almost seems like just looking at it too hard causes a small mark. Will it improve once painted? Does the paint provide some protection, or is there anything else that can be done?

Hi stefand, my experience is that once you paint over the spackel, it becomes much harder, the paint cures/dries and becomes a protective layer. Don't forget to prime, spackel absorbs a lot of paint
