Hello,

I want to remove the red-marked interior wall in the picture below and am getting different opinions on whether the rafters are self-supporting or not. What do you think? Can it be seen in the attached drawing?

The wall is really not substantial. About 45×70 studs with tretex.

The span for the rafters is 7.5m.

  • Blueprint of a house floor plan with a red-marked interior wall in the living room area, questioning its load-bearing capacity.

The wall is really not impressive. Like 45×70 studs with tretex.

They are self-supporting. The basement wall is load-bearing.
But the wall might provide some support to the ceiling.
