Hello,

Does anyone have a good tip on the best way to seal between the garage slab and the interior walls?

In the garage, I don't have a drain, and when the snow melts off the car, the water slides in under the walls. ???

Thanks

Don't you have any sylltätning? ???

Well, I have sill seal under the sill.

But it's the water from the inside I'm worried about. I have gypsum board on the interior walls, and it goes all the way down to the floor. and they absorb quite a bit.

Does anyone know if there is a cement-like material that is "waterproof"??? Then I could place it between the floor and the walls so the water doesn't contact the gypsum boards.

Isn't it better to mill a number of grooves - with a slope - in the concrete slab à la fan with an outlet/channel at the gate opening?

One solution could be to invest in a fein or a copy, place a spacer on the base plate and cut the plasterboard, use a univarsfog to seal the gap you create when cutting the plasterboard by 5-10 mm.

This way, the plasterboard will not rest on the concrete, and you get at least some form of protection.

Do the same as you would in a bathroom... that is, put a moisture barrier. Yours doesn't need to be more than about 10-15 cm up on the wall. Then I would lay tiles in the garage. It will be nice, cheap, and easy to maintain.
