Hello!

We've cut into the wall for electrical work and a bit more. Now we want to cover up the grooves and aren't up for plastering drywall over the entire wall for this. Do you have any ideas on what can be placed over it? The cables go almost flush with the wall.
 
What are the walls made of then?
 
It's plaster. And wood behind?
 
Then you only need plaster/rendering plaster
 
TS seems in his other thread on the same topic hesitant about plastering in the cables, so I would recommend hiring a skilled electrician who can do a neat surface-mounted installation instead.
