Hello!

We have carved out for electricity and a little more. Now we want to cover up the groove and don't feel like putting drywall over the entire wall for this. Do you have any ideas for what can be placed over it? The cables are almost flush with the wall.

  • Wall with groove cut for electrical wiring, covered by a conduit near a window corner. Visible damage on the wall suggests renovation work.
  • A wall cutout with exposed electrical cables running along it, next to a painted wooden structure. The cables are aligned with the wall surface.
Gypsum plaster, available in a 25kg bag for maybe 200kr at the building stores.

But can you cover electric cables and stuff with it?

You can continue to have it as it is now, it's special and you don't need to worry about hidden cables.
