I am going to seal between the first floor and the attic floor.
I will be putting up some studs and drywall, among other things, and I want to seal gaps with something.
Would you use construction adhesive, latex, or even fireproof sealing?
Latex is more fluid but seems to come off easily too.
I guess construction adhesive (pl400?) is the most common choice if professional builders are working?

Glue is used for bonding
Sealant is used for sealing
Putty is used to even out surface irregularities
Between two boards, you should apply putty and place a strip in the putty.
Around everything, you should seal, for example with latex.
When you're finished with the base, you paint.
