Our basement is built from prefab concrete walls. There are now small, tiny cracks where one wall meets another wall or the floor (or maybe they've always been there, but no one cared):

There are also some cosmetic flaws where duct pipes run along the floor:

As I'm quite inexperienced, I wonder which material is best suited to seal such things? The easier the application, the better, and it doesn't have to be super pretty but preferably paintable.

I would prefer to use sealant foam or silicone if it's suitable since I already have that at home. Otherwise, feel free to suggest what should be used. Thank you!
 
Cracks between walls can be sealed with sealant (not foam). Silicone cannot be painted. Read the tube carefully.
I would remove metal strips completely so you can see what's happening under the metal (corrosion, moisture).
