hello everyone,
I have bought a black glass sheet to place in front of the fireplace. The glass sheet will be flush with the parquet.
Wondering what kind of sealant (black) to use between the parquet and the glass sheet. Needs to be maintenance-free, stay clean, etc. Silicone, latex?

Is the glass pane tempered and how thick is it, and what base are you planning to use? The pane should be able to support an adult and withstand some impact. I don't want to scare you, but think it through first, although maybe you already have.
I think you should go for a real floor sealant instead, like this one: https://www.bauhaus.se/casco-golvfog-s40-svart.html
