As the topic says, is there any local lumberyard / sawmill in the Halmstad area that sells to private individuals? I have googled without success.
I am aware of Byggmax, Beijer, and K-rauta but for various reasons, I have grown tired of all three and am therefore looking for something smaller, with knowledgeable staff and good quality...

GS byggvaror in Gullbranna, just south of Halmstad, I can recommend.
Very good prices and good staff. I buy "almost everything" there.

Really small is Ambjörns byggvaror between Gullbrandstorp and Haverdal.

Aah, GS byggvaror. Have heard about them but didn't consider that they were in the local area. Their prices seem to be competitive and if the quality is also good, this seems to be great.
