Hello,
The bracket for the windowsill was loose and yesterday I removed it. I found that the drill hole was not in the best condition (see my attempts at pictures). Most likely, a previous owner also had problems and tried to fix it by drilling deeper and adding an extra plug.

I'm looking for a solution on how to get grip in the same hole. I can't make new holes for the bracket since the holes in the stone slab that will be placed on it are fixed.

A loose window sill bracket with damaged wall hole, showing previous repair attempts with multiple plugs, needs a solution for secure attachment.
A damaged wall with an irregular hole, possibly enlarged from multiple drilling attempts, exposing a blue plastic anchor inside.

We've all been there.

Here you can see a bunch of different ways to fix a screw hole. The easiest is probably to hammer in a wooden plug and redrill. Or several small sticks with a bit of wood glue in between.

Thanks for the help.

The anchoring compound and threaded rod will hold like a rock.
