Rules of thumb for size of interior moldings.

Not sure where to put this but I'll try here and see.

The house has a vintage look with ceiling heights of 2.6 and 2.5 meters.

Wondering if there are any rules of thumb for sizes of interior moldings. If the casing is 70mm, should the baseboard be higher? Crown molding?

Do you use plinth blocks that connect to the baseboard?

120mm floor skirting, allmoge, available at Beijer. In our 20s house, the original looked exactly like them.

Rosette is nice (but not the ugly "modern" type that's milled all around with an ugly profile and sold in packages individually.) but not a must.

But what is meant by "old-fashioned style," pimped 80s or 1927?
