That drawing shows an open truss with a ridge beam (missed that at first and wondered how they put it together without a bottom chordMTech said:
If you look at, for example, the wood guide, it becomes Roof beams in a bay, with a length of 1500 mm (if your total span was 3m)
A 45x145 C24 should handle up to snow load zone 3.5 - so it shouldn't be any problem.
Then you must of course size the ridge beam properly (even if it is only 1.6 m long) and the support for it - I do not know how you have planned for a porch: You don't want a post right in front of the door, so I assume you are bridging it then? But since you have an open ridge, this becomes a visible construction?

The framework for the porch is built in 100×100.klaskarlsson said:

A 45x145 C24 should be able to handle up to snow zone 3.5 - so there shouldn't be any problems. Then you must, of course, dimension the ridge beam properly (even if it's only 1.6 m long) and its support - not sure how you have planned for a porch: You don't want a pillar right in front of the door, so I assume you're offsetting it then? But since you have open to the ridge, this becomes a visible structure?

At the front, I have 4 posts at 3 meters, but at the back over the door, I probably need to offset the ridge beam somehow.
