Roof tiles 7 degrees - Approved or not in Sweden?
Hello
I want to order concrete tiles from creaton
https://www.creaton.com/en/product-overview/clay-roof-tiles/premion
that withstand 7 degrees.
Is there a law/insurance that says you can't?
Sounds stupid considering that the supplier approves them.

Was it the wrong link? What you're linking to is clay tiles and not concrete tiles. It's a bit unclear what the question is about. If it's a new construction, it might be regulated in the detailed plan what angle you can have on the roof.

Yes, clay tiles. It's approved to have it that low and the choice of material is free but not metal.
I mean more if there is Swedish law or something.
A bit down the page, there is a table of the minimum allowed roof pitch. However, I don't know what it's based on. If it's the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning's recommendations or the Planning and Building Act.
I used the table and tick building permit for a 6-degree roof slope with double-seamed metal roofing. https://www.traguiden.se/konstrukti...lettering/tak/form-material-och-konstruktion/
That it would be okay with a tile roof for roofs with a pitch below 14 degrees came as a surprise to me.

I have a tiled roof on the summer house's garage and utility entrance, which is 12 degrees. The base is oil-hardened board on tongue and groove, and then glued polyester-reinforced underlayment. But with really careful execution in all parts, there are no problems.

Leaking roofs are no joke and not something to experiment with, in my opinion. Just because they think it's okay with 7° down on the continent doesn't mean it's smart here. Roofs with such a low pitch should be completely sealed in my opinion.
I wouldn't want to be the one to explain how it is professionally executed to the insurance company if something happens.
