Hi, I sketched a roof structure as I plan to remodel the garage.
Sketch of a garage roof structure with labeled dimensions, showing trusses and support columns, drawn on lined paper.
Does it look reasonable or crazy?

If relevant:

If you want opinions on the roof trusses, information about the span, municipality, slope, and choice of outer and inner roof is needed.

Otherwise, it looks reasonable. But without measurements, it's hard to say anything.

Hmm okay, I understand that it's of course not possible to determine everything from that picture but was thinking more generally if it's appropriate, I assume it's important that the truss doesn't rest on the inner wall? Like if the plinth were to sink?

A standard solution that, if properly dimensioned, "always" works.

If the scale is approximately correct, you could make the inner wall load-bearing and skip pillars. This would of course mean a slightly different truss, though not too different from the one you've sketched. Could be nice to avoid a lot of pillars?
