Proper knowledge in structural engineering is required to tackle this type of problem. With the chosen solution, the additional floor loads will be transferred to the existing columns in the facade, which also need to bear all the roof loads. Since the height of the columns is almost 4 meters, there is a significant risk that the so-called buckling loads will become too high. The house won't collapse, but you won't be able to use the loft.

Not being able to use the loft is no problem at all, I'm not counting on it.

Furthermore, the wall columns will soon get help; the entire walls will eventually be framed at cc60 with 45x195. So as long as it holds together until then, and hopefully it will happen before the next big storm...
