Gustavs look really nice and the assembly system is smart. But they look expensive?! What is their approximate cost per sqm @Villabergskuben ?

I think it costs about 1500kr/m2 complete, but it certainly also depends on the type of slats and volume of the order. It comes out perfectly straight and looks awesome, as well as the installation being quick. Additionally, the solution itself is sound-dampening.P Panelmannen said:

Do you have any pictures? How did you deal with the lights? Awesome looking anyway!

We have slats on the walls...
If you have Instagram, you can check out pictures of our slats there: villabergskuben
Regarding lighting, I would combine the slats by replacing one slat row with a spotlights track...

Hi,
I'm raising this question again, but with a twist! If you want to try a ribbed ceiling in a bathroom, how do you go about it? Any type of veneer is likely out, so it should probably be solid wood.
I'm considering installing ribs in our bathroom, which is about 6 sqm, so it's not a large ceiling. It would be nice to embed lighting between the ribs...
Can you screw-glue the ribs onto something like plywood painted with black waterproof paint, divide them into, say, 3 sections, and lift with a drywall lift? The question is which type of wood is best. We would prefer to have a darker wood (think walnut), but I can imagine staining a lighter wood.
