I have bought a small rental property.
Now, the renovation in this building is a bit delayed.
My question concerns my two stairwells and also the basement, both of which consist of plastered brick walls where the plaster is practically falling off. (The house was built in 1941, by the way)

Since we will have a lot to do in the coming years and cannot afford tradesmen, my question is simply:
What is the easiest thing one can do with these walls to make them durable and somewhat nice-looking? It doesn't matter if the bricks are visible through the plaster. On the contrary, I think it looks nice.

Can you do this: knock down all the plaster and then spray a thin layer of plaster with a funnel sprayer like this:
Air-powered for texture plaster and lime/cement paint. Adjustable valve for airflow. No tools needed to change nozzle diameter. Adjustable trigger stop. Can be tilted backward without the material running out. Comes with a suspension handle.

Required compressor: 2Hp, 24l, 220l/min, 2-3 bar

Thanks for the answer.

no one who can answer if this is possible or which is easiest to do?
