I have a house from the 60s built with blåbetong and a plastered facade. There are also painted plywood boards in certain areas, likely only for aesthetic reasons. I now want to replace the existing and worn plywood boards on the facade with something else and have been considering fiber cement (Minerit or another brand). A few questions:
1) If you don't want plywood or wood, what other board materials, besides fiber cement, are suitable?
2) Can fiber cement boards be attached in ways other than with screws? (I would prefer not to have a lot of screw heads on the facade.)
