I have torn out the inside of an old exterior wall in our old townhouse and am considering whether the old vapor barrier or whatever it is (see picture) can be replaced or patched.
The house is from '68 and the construction is accordingly...
The old exterior side of the exterior wall (which is brick) is now enclosed as part of the entrance.
If replacing is a good idea...What would the setup look like (from inner material to the board that sits before the inside of the brick)?
