Hello!

I'm tearing down my kitchen and unfortunately, during the work, a corner that seems to consist only of a thick layer of plaster was damaged. What's the best way to repair it? It feels like I need to build up a mold and fill it with something?

  • Damaged kitchen corner with exposed plaster and debris on the floor, showing the broken section needing repair during renovation work.
  • Damaged plaster corner in a kitchen with visible cracks and exposed layers. A white cord hangs next to it.
I would use plaster mix

Or Casco husfix which is also very good and durable for that sort of thing

Did some house fixing, went quite well. Had to do two layers to build up, where the final layer got the "corner shape" just by dragging with the knife. Then putty on it to make it nice :)

So no casting with form, just a spatula in two layers and then fine-tuning with wall putty? :) We have a similar corner that disappeared in our own kitchen renovation now.

That usually works fine, husfix is very heavy to sand so make sure not to apply too much, it's better to apply a little less and finish with regular putty as mentioned.
