Repair concrete post

Need to repair a concrete post for my fence. It is in really bad shape, probably needs to be demolished and a new one cast. But I would prefer to avoid that for various reasons.

What is the easiest way to repair it (see image)

Should probably just knock the post itself apart and then cast a new one directly on site using the old foundation; it would be the simplest measure, as you leave both the rebar that's already there and the metal fittings that hold up the actual fence.

Can you ask the buyer to take over "your place" for the matter here? I want to follow it into the next decade.

Don't think he's the type to take on such a project.
(Unless he figures out a way to fix it with a golf club)😀
