I have been too passive for too long and started tearing apart our small bathroom/toilet or whatever you call it when there’s only a WC and a sink.

Tiles, concrete, sand, etc., are gone, and now it needs to be filled with something, and the removed radiator should be reconnected to the underfloor heating, and the window should be replaced.

But what do I do now?
Replace drainage
Concrete (EPS?) to a certain height
Pipe for underfloor heating
Self-leveling compound
Tiles
Install WC and sink.
Done

That’s the short version, but what about waterproofing since it’s not a shower or bathtub?

Do I need to reinforce (it’s a concrete slab), but I need to go up 170mm including tiles?

What will I forget when it’s too late?

What do I do with the water pipes? Insulate them?

waterproofing with upturn on the walls should be in place according to the regulations even if you don't have a floor drain

And furthermore, it is good to read the industry regulations from BKR (tiles, ceramics) and Säker Vatten. There you can find, for example, rules about waterproofing, prohibition of pipes coming up through the floor unless it's drainage, prohibition of hidden water connections.
