Hello.

I hope someone can provide concrete tips on how to get the following surfaces back in decent condition.

Case 1, orange interior wall, with relatively "shallow" damage due to glued wall panels directly on a plaster wall that have been removed. Can some kind of plaster be applied in such thin (1-2 mm layers)?

Case 2, green exterior wall, plaster loss all the way to the masonry wall, depth about 1-3 cm. I assume some type of plaster mortar can be used here. What type works here?

Case 3, exterior wall (no picture) probably due to moisture behind dense 70s paint, the plaster has become like "sand." What I mean is that the wall is very porous and it comes off like sand if you just run your hand over the wall. What to do here? Stabilize the wall with priming perhaps?

I assume in all cases priming should be done before any plaster is applied.

The house is from 1964. The walls are now dry after drainage.

The plan is to paint with suitable paint after the wall is repaired.

  • Close-up of an orange interior wall with shallow surface damage, showing areas where wallpaper adhesive has been removed, revealing plaster underneath.
  • Damaged green outer wall with plaster missing, revealing the inner masonry. The plaster damage is about 1-3 cm deep, showing rough, uneven edges.
