renovate wood-fired kitchen stove

Hi,

I have a kitchen stove that I use wood for (good start), the chimney sweep told me to renovate the Stosen with (lime) C-plaster, this has been done twice.

Problem: It keeps falling off.

My solution: I have "sprayed" with water and continuously sprayed as it dried; it sticks like "rock," but when I fire, it just turns to crumbs and cracks.

Thoughts: Buy a new stos with more spacing (better cooling), Reinforce in some way.

Stos, do you mean the smoke pipe going into the chimney or?
