I am gluing oak strips on the sides of my stair treads made of oak parquet flooring. I'm not quite sure how to handle the angled treads. I only have clamps and they slowly but surely slide off.

Can you first put a clamp on the tread, which you then tighten the molding clamp against?

Hmm... I've renovated two staircases and used PL600 on both with a good odor-free result.
