Got wax from maschalk on the outdoor paving stone, concrete stone. Left it over the winter and now it's stuck in the stone with a dark discoloration. Does anyone know how to remove it? Tried scraping in vain but it hasn't helped.

Got wax on the limestone fireplace. Heated with a heat gun and then used paper towels with good absorption to soak up the melted wax and the residue it left behind. Repeated a few times and now nothing is visible. Maybe this could work in this case too?

Smart! Don't have one myself but will try with a hairdryer to start with. Thanks for the tip!

Last time I used the gas burner and burned it up

Hahah ok. Thanks for the suggestion. I don't even have a heat gun, but it's good for others who have the same problem and happen to have a torch at home.

Tested quickly with a hairdryer and toilet paper. Worked really well! Didn't remove all the grease spots but probably need a heat gun and better paper. Thanks for the tips! Will solve it tomorrow.
