Hello
We have a guest cottage that has brown jute fabric on the walls. Inside, it currently resembles a dusty tomb, so we are planning a small, not too extensive, renovation. I understand that painting over jute fabric is tricky, but is it possible to remove it completely? I believe there is chipboard underneath.
Another plan is to cover the walls with panel boards, like Brandéns or Smartpanel, but the question is how they behave in a cottage that remains unheated all winter. According to Brandéns, it should not be a problem, but since I am a cautious and suspicious type, I don't completely trust that. Does anyone in the forum know?
