I put up a String shelf using the arrow head anchor from Essve, the kind that you hammer in and that expands at the back when you screw in the screw. I now realize that I should have used a stronger anchor, like a molly bolt, because we are going to have quite a few heavy things on the shelf.
Can you remove such an anchor? Can you, for example, simply drill it out when making holes for molly bolts? We really want to have the shelf in exactly the same spot where it is now.
Grateful for any tips.

Don't you just break off the round flanges on the outside and tap it in behind the sheet?

Thank you so much! It also seems that you can simply unscrew the screw and then just pull out the plug. I will try that first and then your trick.
