I am building a fence and want to have an entrance so I can get a smaller boat trailer onto the property.
I am considering avoiding a larger gate and only making a removable wider section, does anyone have any good ideas?
Thinking about hooking the section on and off, with the beams resting on double Z/U-irons at the top and bottom of the posts.
The fence is 80cm high, slats 22x95. Beams 45x95 and posts 70x70.
Ready-made 50cm plinths, also planning to pour concrete around these where the passage will be.

How wide and heavy do you think the section will be, a couple of hooks attached to the section and loops on the posts (only at the top), then it is easy to hook on/off. Down below, you put a lock of some kind so it doesn't flap in the wind.
I installed hook hinges on my fence. It became very easy to unhook a section then. You can modify the long part so it becomes a little shorter. Then paint everything in the same color as the fence so it's barely visible.
