Regla CC1200 in ceiling?

I'm lowering my concrete ceiling and have built a frame around the room. Now I'm planning to continue with the studs and I'm considering if I can proceed with cc1200? I'm using 45x45 and 8x100 nail plug approximately every 70 cm. After that, I'll add thin paneling cc30 and then plasterboard.

Isn't it going to be quite a distance between the fastenings in the slats if they're 120 apart? I would have set cc60 and then slatted with cc30. But I don't really know what I'm talking about either, so it's just a guess.

It will work with c/c 1200. That's the standard distance on the roof trusses in a house and I've never heard of a ceiling where the paneling loosened.

Then batten as RetepG writes with c/c 300 and it will be good, possibly you might need slightly longer screws for the battens so they hold a little better. With 70 mm screws there's only about 25 mm that goes into the substrate. A rule of thumb is that a screw should be at least twice as long as the thickness of the wood you're screwing into, so in your case at least 90 mm.

Edit: I read a bit carelessly, you actually nailed up the battens, so there's no use for the advice I gave you. However, I seem to remember reading somewhere that when nailing wood into concrete, the nail shouldn't be too long, wood length +20 mm, I think it was.

So good! The length of the plug nail is 100 mm and it seems to hold well but what do you think about the spacing between the plug nails? On the 3.60 m 45x45 battens, I have used 6 plug nails. Is more frequent spacing required?

Can you go down and set them closer together. Nail plugs aren't that expensive and it probably feels better afterwards.

OK thanks for the tips guys! I'll pop in a couple of extra expansion plugs between the existing ones since the distance between the studs will be quite long.
