Hello!

I'm in the process of making a trap purchase and came across this company that is very well-priced and seems professional. Has anyone bought from them or knows anything about them??

Do you have any other companies to recommend?

Thanks in advance!

I have bought two staircases from there - an oak staircase and a pine staircase. It was a few years ago now, but I had nothing to complain about. One staircase was installed by one of their installers. The other I installed together with a carpenter. Both arrangements worked well.

We changed quite a few small dimensions on the oak staircase, for example, a smaller radius on all edges, a more streamlined design of the risers.

On the other hand, I haven't bought stairs from any other supplier, so it's hard to compare...

But how nice to hear that at least you are satisfied:-) Twice even!

We are also messing around with special measurements here and there, and they seem very serious and good. But you never know, and it's quite a bit of money, so you want to try to find out as much as possible...

Thanks for the answer!

Anyone else who knows something?

Haven't bought anything from them, but one of their guys came over to measure and discuss solutions and then sent over a price proposal along with a simple drawing of the staircase. Strongly leaning towards choosing them when it's time for a new staircase.

Rättviks can be recommended, I am completely satisfied with them. Another company I have also bought from is Persson & Skogs in Mora, they make good stairs and also other carpentry.

How nice to hear!

Awaiting the final quote here but then I will order from there...Thank you all!

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to update a bit... Got the stairs this week and they were supposed to go up today. They were really beautiful and everything looked good until the last risers were to be fitted on two of the sections. Then it turned out they were about 10 cm too short...

After really good service from Christopher at the staircase factory, we agreed that we could fix a new riser from one of the incorrect ones, and thus at least get 2/3 of the staircase done. Then we could temporarily set up the last part, so now we just have to wait to get the proper riser home instead...

A bit disappointing and unfortunate, but otherwise the staircase is beautiful and we're supposed to get compensation for this, so I hope it ends well in the end...

Currently pondering stairs. Throw out the old, steep staircase and put in a new one in a different place in the house. May I ask what it cost you? Just roughly speaking :-)
