Rainwater

Had builders out at our soon-to-be-started new construction of a cottage.
He said that you shouldn't direct rainwater into the drainage (we have a crawl space foundation), does anyone know if that's true???

Of course, one should not lead rainwater into the drainage, but instead, stormwater pipes are usually placed at frost-free depth at the same time as the drainage is installed. Then, stormwater and drainage pipes discharge into the same inspection well.
