Then you stand there, the day before the house delivery, the sill is nailed down and it's pouring rain. According to the forecasts, it will rain for the rest of the day and until early morning when the house is delivered. There is nothing near the sill where water will stand (aware from previous downpours) and the wall panels are wrapped in plastic so the rain shouldn't reach the insulation according to the supplier, which I understand is the most important thing. After assembly, we'll make sure to cover everything as best we can.
How dangerous is it really with a wet sill at the time of frame delivery, and do you typically manage the moisture from rainwater by using construction heaters and dehumidifiers? You do get worried, but our house surely can't be the first one built in the rain in this country?

Moisture is never good in built-in material. Will the syleen be able to dry once the walls are mounted? It is common to cover the sill during assembly and then remove it when assembling the walls. Who is your supplier?
Slab on ground with non-impregnated sill. The walls are mostly clad with particle boards, it's open in some places for pipe routing.
There are studs and boards for the sill almost everywhere, so if it gets a chance to dry, I don't know. Ekeforshus is the supplier.

Ask the builder to measure the moisture content before installation; damp materials should not be built in. I don't quite remember which percentage is approved, but it's around 17-18% if I recall correctly. Your syll will be considered as built-in.

The sill currently has a sky-high moisture level and should be down to a maximum of 12-14%. You should take some random samples with a moisture meter that has pins you drive into the sill in a week or two. Available for rent.

I've built a couple of stick-built houses on slabs and it took months before we could close up the walls. This despite targeted dehumidification of the sill.
In the worst case, you might have to saw the chipboard about 30 cm from the floor, fold up the plastic, and possibly even remove the insulation. But that is in the worst case and isn't too bad.
