We are currently putting together our building permit drawing. Once this is done, I have a carpenter who will calculate the material requirements. After that, my plan is to send out some request for quotes to different lumberyards, partly in the Stockholm area, partly to the north, and partly in Poland. What is particularly important to consider when building such a request? Maybe there's even an established way to do it?
Grateful for tips.

Make your request as complete and clear as possible, sloppy requests don't give a good impression. If you specify carefully, it's easier for the seller to make an offer. Call the brädgården and ask where you should send it and create a relationship with the person who will make the offer. Also explain that this is just the beginning and there will be more later. Also explain that you want to buy everything in the same place.

Thanks for the great tips. Have you made significant progress on your build? What style are you building in, and how has the planning process gone for you? I have just finalized the floor plan and facade and will submit the building permit documents as soon as possible.

On Monday, we will position the house on the plot to prepare by removing trees and brush, as well as making a rough plan of the foundation.

Do you have any wise advice on how to organize the work?

Best regards,
Andreas

How does it usually work then? Do you get a quote on all the material, or do you get a discount rate calculated on their list prices?

It varies depending on whether you have requested a total price or a specified price.

I personally wrote down how much I needed for the project in total.
Then I specified the different dimensions and materials in a table that the dealer could fill in. I did this in a Word document which I then emailed. It made it easy for the dealer to fill in the prices and return it.

The advantage of this table was that all the responses looked the same, so it was easy and clear to compare the different bids. :D

For those who are interested in seeing how it looked, send me an email or PM. ;)
