Hello
I will need to frequently remove/reattach this slat on the fence. Therefore, it's not suitable to use regular screws. So, can you help me with some creative ideas on how to fasten it? The requirement is that it should be quick. I can live with the fact that this particular slat bulges out a few mm. But I also don't want it to look terrible.
One option is that I drill a hole in the batten and insert a threaded insert. Then I attach the slat with a threaded screw through it.
Another solution is that I use some clips or something similar to attach the slat to the batten. I haven't quite figured out what kind of clips yet, but maybe you can help me with that
. Please suggest things that can be bought at places like Clas Ohlson and similar.

Depends on what it needs to withstand. Hinges aren't an option?

A keyhole fitting should work as you recess it into the slat. Then you just screw a suitable screw into the bracket so you can easily lift it on and off.
Doesn't cost many kronor.

Angle hook in the batten and hole in the rule.
Angle hook is probably a Clas O item.

Magnets
Think about how curious I became about the reason for being able to remove a spindle in the middle in that way.
Thanks for all the suggestions! I ended up ordering a bunch of hängbleck from Clas Ohlson
.
Then I notice that you're quite curious about the reason
. If you look at the bottom edge of the fence, you might guess the reason. Very hard to see though

The reason for all of this is that I have seized the fence. So now I can "unhook" a section of the fence very quickly. Useful when I need to get things into the garden and past the fence. So now I can do it without tools, without having to bring out the screwdriver and stuff.
