Question about radioactivity in the timber

I'm considering building a house with Fiskarheden from Dalarna. Dalarna is approximately on the same latitude as Gävle, where a lot of radioactive fallout from Chernobyl occurred.
So my question is, what is the level of activity in the timber today? Has there been any measurement of radiation doses from people who have lived in houses built with wood from the affected area?
Probably nothing to worry about...
