Hello
I have built a new partition wall between two bedrooms. The original idea was to put drywall on one side and OSB+drywall on the other side of the wall. The plan was to easily hang heavier items on the OSB side without plugs.
I have started to reconsider:
- Skip the full OSB and only reinforce where we will hang things. The advantage is to save weight...
OR
- Put up the OSB panels (which I unfortunately already bought). An advantage could be that the wall becomes better sound-insulated.
How would you have reasoned?
Best regards

Definitely set up.
Not wrong with insulation in the wall either, it doesn't cost many kronor and can be worth every cent if there is a bit more noise from one side

What a no-brainer! You've already bought them, so of course they should go up!
Even if you know right now where you want to attach things, there will be other needs in the future.
What weight are you actually trying to save?

Is the floor so weak that it can't support the weight
