Prevent construction dust from entering another room?

Anyone know a smart solution to prevent construction dust from the hallway to the TV room? Something that can be easily opened when you want to enter the TV room? Right now I have a plastic hanging! The opening is about 1.5m.

We usually use old sheets, preferably two overlapping, to reduce the risk of gaps at the edge when passing.

The dull simple method is to clean every day, when finished, in combination with plastic on the door.

If there is dust in the air, it follows the airflow. The slightest gap in the plastic means the dust ends up in the living room. You need to use a temp fan via the fresh vent. And cleaning...

During the plumbing replacement in my old condominium, all wardrobes were temporarily taped, which didn't help. Had to wash everything again. So mitigation is probably possible, but not more...

If possible, ensure there is overpressure in the room that needs to be kept clean.

However, I believe it's virtually impossible to avoid 100% if you need to pass through the door. As kysan writes, the dust finds its way in everywhere.

During our laundry room renovation last year, an "overlapping" was done, the window wide open, and ventilation at maximum, but we still had construction dust throughout the WHOLE house.

A cheaper alternative is top plastic used for pallets. Wrap wardrobes and cabinets with plastic and tape carefully around them.
Tape and cover door openings, if possible, avoid going into the rooms that are most sensitive to dust.
This worked fairly well for us. During renovation, construction dust is the most troublesome in my opinion.
