Hello,
I have a sunroom roof that currently connects to the house wall just below the eaves. When I plan to replace the roof, I would instead like to connect the plastic roof to the fascia board (directly under the gutter). This way, I would get a tight seal and avoid the accumulation of debris I currently have on the plastic roof under the eaves. Unfortunately, the eaves would then be open into the sunroom.
My concern is that the warm (humid?) air in the sunroom will find its way up under the eaves or, in the worst case, through the eaves ventilation and into the attic, where it may condense.
Am I thinking correctly; could this be a problem?
The sunroom is used mostly during the warm season, meaning no heating in winter.
Grateful for an answer.
