Hi!

I'm in the process of renovating a room where there is damaged spännpapp on the walls and ceiling, the plan is to remove all the spännpapp and put up drywall. My question is, how do I handle the outer wall? Is it okay to put the drywall directly on the log wall, or could there be moisture problems? The wall is, of course, somewhat uneven, is that an issue or does it need to be leveled perfectly with framing? Grateful for any answers.

Regards, Jonas

I'm in a similar situation now as I'm renovating a kitchen in an apartment. How did it turn out in your case? Did you manage to get the walls reasonably straight by placing drywall directly on the logs?
