Hello! I have demolished a kitchen. The tiles were placed with a distance of 20mm with adhesive from the countertop to the wall/frame, which is made of blåbetong. Now that I'm installing new tiles, I need to fill out these 20mm from the wall with either plaster or drywall. What would be best to achieve a flat result to tile on? The wall is fairly flat. But what should one consider when installing drywall, for example? Which plug should be used? Adding pictures for greater understanding!
Maybe mesh the wall with galvanized mesh and then plaster. Prime thoroughly before and after to prevent porous surfaces. If you are going to attach something to the wall, make sure to use something sturdy that goes through the plaster and well into the concrete.
