I have added insulation to a couple of walls in the house and put fiber cement boards on the outside, and now some in the household want these plastered and at the same time spruce up the garage with new plaster...

I have visited a couple of companies and also talked to the local "mason" and I get different answers from all... 😅

The easier one would be the garage, it is previously plastered concrete block and done sometime in the late 70s. The mason and I agree that it seems to be regular plaster mortar and not lime mortar on the garage walls.
Thus, I thought of priming with Priming Mortar A and then going on with Plaster Mortar B since the garage is fairly "stable" and the walls are now quite clean as all the old plaster has come off quite easily.

Beijer construction specialist and local mason think I should just go with Plaster Mortar B KC directly on the garage walls and don't need to prime... Hornbach and the local expert at XL Bygg say as I think A+B...

So for the garage, is it just B KC, or priming A + plaster mortar B?

The villa with fiber cement boards is a bit trickier, and here I have no less than three propositions:
1) priming A + plaster mortar C
2) priming KC + plaster mortar B KC
3) plaster mortar B fiber-reinforced

Proposals 2 and 3 I am not very keen on because they become incredibly much more expensive... However, one might think that option 3 could be better in the long run since the fiber cement boards are not completely "stable", but can move slightly in/out...
Would it be better to just pay more and go with fiber-reinforced plaster B on the fiber cement boards...?

All plastering with plaster mesh, of course (fiber cement should be with fiberglass mesh)!

You'll get better responses if you include some pictures.
Might be able to offer advice then.

It was fiber-reinforced rendering mortar B with fiberglass mesh... We'll see in a year if it stays in place...

First watered, then applied about 4-5 mm and screwed the fiberglass mesh into the wet mortar, then rendered after it had set another 6-8 mm.

Okay, understand what you're writing.
But how did the appearance turn out?
Of course, I mean, insert pictures.

Now it's done, but I can still share some after-pictures... 😊

Outdoor staircase with a freshly plastered wall, a ladder, garden hose, and plants nearby.
Newly plastered exterior wall with a sealed door and a power outlet on a corner.
A close-up view of a smooth, finished exterior wall corner with a textured surface, possibly after a renovation project.

That turned out nice! I'm going to make my plinth with fiber cement board now, which boards did you use and how did you cut them?

I think I bought them at Byggmax... Used an old saw blade and filed and cut a bit afterwards.

Looks good.

Nice!
Is the plaster still holding up like this a year later?

Yes, indeed! And no cracks either.
