I have a house from the early 60s where the plaster on some basement walls has started to come off at the bottom. How do I best repair it? Is plaster mortar C recommended or does husfix also work? Can I use silicate paint when I paint the wall?

Images are not wrong, but use c play.
Ardex A46 is better than husfix, but you only have half an hour.

I have plastered the basement walls inside with Weber 135, which is a C mortar. It is mixed with water and becomes almost like a putty.

Yes, use silikatfärg. It is breathable, so the wall can dry.

Can you recommend a specific brand, or does Biltema's masonry and plaster paint work just as well?

Tried Biltema's paint on the rabbit's house (yes, the rabbit lives in a brick house...), but my wife forgot to apply primer/wall base first. It started to fall off after 2-3 years, but I don't know if it's because the base was missing or because the paint was bad.

So unfortunately I don't know, I usually buy Bauhaus silicate paint, possibly it's Beckers that they sell, I don't really remember. But it's quite expensive, but seems to work well anyway.

I painted with Flygger's masonry and primer paint, it's still on the exterior walls 7 years later.
