I'm installing 22 mm floor chipboard on an intermediate floor.
A few partition walls are missing.

My question is: Can you place a wall ON the chipboard, or does it have to rest directly on these 45 x 195 that are the framework in the intermediate floor? It would save a lot of work if it’s possible.

Of course, you can place a wall on floor particle board...

It is rather standard practice when it comes to non-load-bearing partition walls?

Thanks for the answers.

As an amateur carpenter, you sometimes get frustrated when you don't know how to do things and what consequences it will have if you do it one way or the other.
