Hello!
In a newly built log house, if you want to install partition walls, you must consider any potential settling. Studs placed adjacent to the wall can, as I understand, be equipped with so-called glide tracks, or alternatively, you can saw slots about 1 dm, where you then nail or screw. (The stud must not reach all the way up to the ceiling joist). But how do you handle the other studs? How can you possibly make them "slide"? The log frame that is to be fitted with walls has now been standing for about 11 months. :x
