I will have an inverter installed for solar panels and the electrician suggests mounting a formply on the wall (indoors) on which the devices can then be installed. From what I understand, it's difficult to paint such a board since it is oiled. How can I easily make the board white? Or is there another non-flammable board material that can be made white?

I built the dogs' doghouse from plywood that was thoroughly sanded down before I painted it with window paint.
Four years later, it's still just as nice...
I chose window paint because it's a bit softer.

Handmade plywood doghouse with two dogs peeking out of the windows in a workshop.

Two black and white dogs sitting by a custom-built doghouse resembling a small trailer on a grassy lawn.

:D Nice dog house! So you sanded the surface before painting? Did you use 40 grit or what did you use?

Sanded thoroughly with an orbital sander with 80 grit paper (if I remember correctly) to get a matte surface, see the first picture. When I think about it, I believe I wiped it with T-röd before painting just to be safe.
