Hi! I'm planning to plaster/paint the stairwell at home and was thinking of building my own scaffold. Would 45x95 timbers be sufficient? For the standing surface, what do you use there?

It should be as cheap as possible but safe, of course.

45*95 for struts and beams will be great, 2*8" to walk on or 45*195 if your lumberyard doesn't have planed timber.

A man stands on a ladder precariously positioned between a house and a van, working on the exterior. Caption in Swedish suggests a dangerous situation.

You've never heard of jokes or irony. The text on/in the picture clearly shows that it isn't serious. As well as saying it's silly to make your own stands without thinking carefully.

TS is obviously thinking it through really thoroughly since he is even asking for advice here. 😉

I have a questionably built of 45*70, not dead yet... grid of the same with formplyfa on.

Yes, it would just be missing for someone to have to point that out too. 😄

Thanks for both the help and the jokes 😜
